December 16, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusians\u2019 real disposable income (adjusted for inflation) rose by 10 percent year on year in January-October, the National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat) reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pace of growth decelerated from 10.2 percent in January-September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The growth rate has been mostly declining throughout the year: after a rise of 13.8 percent in January, the growth slowed down\u00a0to 12.5 percent in January\u2013February, 12 percent in January\u2013March ,10.8 percent in January\u2013April, 10.5 percent in January-May, 10.2 percent in January-June and 10 percent in January-July and January-August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, real disposable income was up 9.7 percent after rising 6.3 percent in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusians\u2019 nominal average pay before taxes amounted to 2,759 rubels ($940) in October, up 0.4 percent from the September level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government projected a 4-percent increase in real income for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
