It aimed to secure over \u20ac1.06 million in EU aid, of which \u20ac447,000 has already been allocated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The suspects were illegally exporting high-tech products manufactured and assembled in Lithuania to Russia and Belarus, in violation of the European Union&#8217;s sanctions, investigators said. It is believed that these products could have been used in the Russian and Belarusian military industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, the Lithuanian Financial Crime Investigation Service and the Lithuanian State Security Department conducted more than 10 searches across Lithuania, arresting several gang members and a suspected organizer, a Belarusian national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six people have been charged, while two more foreigners are wanted.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>December 22, Pozirk.
