December 28, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Alaksandar Raho\u017enik stated that the outgoing year was a record one for Belarusian trade with Russia, which he expects to exceed $60 billion, according to the Belarusian embassy’s Telegram post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trade seemed unaffected by the difficulties that are arising in connection with the cooling of the Russian economy, the diplomat noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minsk is successfully coping with Western sanctions, he added. \u201cToday, we are practically not feeling their effects; all issues have been resolved. There were some logistical problems at first, but with Russia\u2019s support in exporting our products, we are no longer experiencing difficulties.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trade between Belarus and Russia grew by 1.8 percent in January-October 2025, with trade in services up by 17 percent, according to D\u017amitry Krutoj, the head of Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trade between Belarus and Russia reached a record $57.6 billion last year, up 7.4 percent from 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
