December 31, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Days after Ukraine denied carrying out a drone attack on a residence of the Russian president, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka echoed Moscow\u2019s accusations, calling the alleged incident \u201cthe wildest terrorism at the highest state level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia\u2019s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed that Kyiv launched the attack overnight on December 29, using 91 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles to target Vladimir Putin\u2019s state residence in Russia\u2019s northwestern Novgorod region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think that if he [Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky] was complicit in this, then he did not understand what he was doing,\u201d the Belarusian ruler was quoted as saying during a visit to the Haryzont Holding Company in Minsk on December 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0141uka\u0161enka also asserted that neither Russia nor Ukraine had previously targeted the leaders of the two countries. \u201cIt\u2019s not that they agreed not to shoot at each other, but during this war the situation has been such that no one attempted to assassinate the head of state,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
