{"id":170587,"date":"2026-01-05T17:36:46","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T14:36:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/170587\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"official-reveals-that-eaeu-still-does-not-have-a-single-market-of-pharmaceuticals","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/170587\/","title":{"rendered":"Official reveals that EAEU still does not have a single market of pharmaceuticals"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>January 5, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> A senior official has revealed in an interview that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) does not have a single market of pharmaceuticals despite the adoption of uniform rules for drug registration in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) experts compared prices for 68 most common drugs. \u201cThere was a high price disparity among countries for most of them, 44,\u201d said Maksim Jerma\u0142ovi\u010d, a former Belarusian finance minister who has represented his country on the EEC Competition and Antimonopoly Board since January 2024, in an interview to <em>Pervyi Informatsionnyi<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted that prices for the same drugs may differ sixfold in various countries. \u201cThis is difficult to explain for the viewpoint of antimonopoly law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Russia-led EAEU also includes Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, with Cuba, Moldova and Uzbekistan being observers.
