The man faces criminal charges. In 2022, he had already spent 15 days in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Activists confirmed at least 162 arrests over links to the now-defunct Bie\u0142aruski Hajun online initiative that monitored Russian military activities in Belarus from 2022 to 2025, Viasna reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maksim \u0160abucki, an exiled activist and former fighter of the Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment, will be put on trial in his absence at the Hrodna District Court on January 26, Pravo Imeyu reported. He faces 24 politically-motivated charges, according to human rights defenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, a sentence is now in effect against Viktar Antu\u0161evi\u010d, a Raha\u010do\u016d-based activist, convicted of facilitating extremism by the Homiel Regional Court.
