January 14,<\/strong> Pozirk.<\/strong><\/em> Cocoa powder, coffee and driving lessons recorded the steepest price increases in Belarus in 2025, according to statistical data analyzed by Pozirk.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of cocoa powder surged by 72.72 percent, coffee rose by 36.05 percent and driving lessons increased by 35.36 percent, while overall consumer prices grew by 6.83 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other leading non-seasonal price increases were recorded for salty herring (up 26.39 percent), instant cocoa drinks (25.14 percent) and honey (24.41 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only rice and olive oil became cheaper over the period, falling by 13.62 percent and 5.12 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among seasonal food items, the sharpest price rises were seen for apples (53.52 percent), green cabbage (26.92 percent), carrots (18.8 percent), greens (11.51 percent) and beetroots (10.04 percent). In contrast, prices declined for garlic (down 34.4 percent), grapes (26.21 percent), tomatoes (21.4 percent), sweet peppers (16.35 percent) and avocados (13.89 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 9.05 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
