February 3, Pozirk. <\/em><\/strong>Belarusian diesel fuel sales at the Russian St. Petersburg Exchange fell to just over 4,000 tons last month after more than 27,000 tons were sold in December, Russia’s TASS<\/em> reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sales of Belarusian diesel fuel also dropped by 26.4 percent year on year. The Russian diesel exchange market reportedly remained balanced during the low-demand season, with demand fully met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In early December, Belarus boosted gasoline supplies to Russia amid fuel shortages resulting from Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy infrastructure. Belarus\u2019 fuel exports to Russia also surged 47 times year-on-year in October 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since February 2022, when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Belarus has supported the Kremlin by allowing Russian troops to attack from its territory and by supplying Moscow with weapons and fuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
