Of those interviewed, only 19 percent said that they had a favorable attitude toward the Belarusians, while 26 percent said that they were indifferent to the Belarusians, 46 percent described their attitude toward the Belarusians was negative, and eight percent could not define their attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Roma ranked 20th, with 18 percent of the respondents saying that their attitude toward this nationality is favorable, 27 percent describing their attitude as indifferent, 46 percent describing it as negative, and nine percent withholding judgement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Russians ranked 21st, with the poll suggesting that only seven percent of the Poles are favorably disposed toward them, while 15 percent are indifferent, 74 percent hold a negative attitude toward them and three percent cannot define their attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the top of the list are the Italians, the Czech and the Slovaks, with 58, 55 and 52 percent of the respondents, respectively, saying that they have a favorable attitude toward them; 29, 31 and 29 percent describing their attitude as indifferent; seven, nine and 11 percent describing it as negative; and seven, six and eight percent of them withholding judgement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of October 2025, at least 146,000 nationals of Belarus were \u201clegalized\u201d to reside in Poland, Alesia Pa\u017eytak, a lawyer specializing in migration law, said in Vilnius in December 2025. This number does not include the Belarusians who are staying in Poland on visas or are waiting for residence permits or asylum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Pa\u017eytak, Poland approved 100 percent of asylum requests by Belarusians in 2021, 99 percent in 2022, 98 percent in 2023, 94 percent in 2024, and 93 percent between January 1 and December 12, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As many as 938 people were interviewed between January 8 and January 20 in the survey, titled \u201cThe Attitude of Poles Towards Other Nations.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 6, Pozirk.
