February 9, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Belarusian oil refineries in Navapo\u0142ack, Viciebsk region, and Mazyr, Homiel region, ended 2025 with solid financial results and remain \u201con a positive track,\u201d said Alaksandar D\u017eus of the Belarusian petrochemical giant Bie\u0142naftachim\u2019s financial department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with Vestnik Belneftekhima<\/em>, the executive praised cost-cutting measures and \u201csignificant state support,\u201d while citing \u201cdifficult economic conditions and turbulence in the debt and currency markets\u201d in Russia as key challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volha Rubanik, head of Naftan\u2019s finance department, said the company needs to reduce its credit burden to an \u201coptimal level.\u201d She also stressed the importance of \u201csearching for payment mechanisms and alternative forms of financing,\u201d including the use of \u201cexotic\u201d currencies and digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Belarusian oil refineries are under Western sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2025, Belarus boosted gasoline supplies to Russia amid fuel shortages resulting from Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy infrastructure. Belarus\u2019 fuel exports to Russia also surged 47 times year-on-year in October 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
