February 17, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Belarus\u2019 exiled pro-democracy leader \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja, who is in Geneva these days, will travel to Vienna later this week to attend a discussion and hold a briefing for diplomats at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her visit to the Austrian capital is timed to coincide with the winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which will also be attended by an official delegation from Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion, \u201cBelarus and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly: Roundtable on the Path to Democracy and Humanitarian Priorities,\u201d will be hosted by the delegations of Sweden and Norway and the Belarusian politician\u2019s office. It will revolve around support for political prisoners and their families and Belarusian civil society consolidation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Geneva, she is attending a human rights and democracy summit, a leading global forum on human rights crises around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cichano\u016dskaja will hold a briefing for ambassadors to the UN and give interviews to foreign journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
