February 20, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>A total of 22,338 job openings are available for foreign nationals in Belarus on February 20, with the number rising by 16.7 percent since January 21, according to the website of the Belarusian State Employment Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foreigners are offered jobs in construction, agriculture, health care and sports, along with management positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government plans to attract at least 50,000 foreign workers to Belarus by 2030, according to a report released in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first half of 2025, the number of foreign workers in Belarus increased from 12,000 to 21,000 year on year, according to the official data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 200,000 workers left Belarus from 2018-2023, according to the Cyberpartisans hacktivist group. Labor shortages caused by emigration persist due to a politically-motivated crackdown that continues since the disputed 2020 presidential election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
