March 3, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has promoted several officials at the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the State Control Committee and appointed new heads of district executive committees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vital Zeleski, head of the academy\u2019s Physics and Technology Institute, was named first deputy chairman of the NAS. Alaksiej Truchana\u016d, a former secretary of the NAS Department of Chemistry and Earth Sciences, was appointed deputy chairman, the Belarusian leader\u2019s press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maksim Ala\u0161kievi\u010d was appointed deputy chairman of the State Control Committee, while Anatol Daro\u017eka and Alaksiej Ihlika\u016d were put in charge of the committee\u2019s Minsk and Hrodna regional branches, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaksiej Zubovi\u010d will serve as deputy economy minister, and Ja\u016dhien Zien\u010danka as first deputy chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0141uka\u0161enka also appointed new district executive committee heads: Siarhiej \u017dydziecki in Stolin, Siarhiej Zubiel in Lahojsk, Alaksandar Ulasaviec in the Masko\u016dski district of Brest and Mika\u0142aj Jefimaviec in the Leninski district of Brest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anastasija Ka\u0142aso\u016dskaja, a former deputy rector, was promoted to rector of the Belarusian State Fine Arts Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
