March 13, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Those involved in the attack on Iran have not achieved their goals, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka said during a visit to the Mahilo\u016d region on March 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know what they wanted,\u201d \u0141uka\u0161enka claimed. The list had \u201cfour or five points, from overthrowing the government to bombing nuclear facilities to force [Iran] to give up on nuclear weapons. They have failed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 28, Israel and the United States launched a joint military operation against Iran amid stalled negotiations over Iran\u2019s nuclear program. Washington had been pressing Tehran to curb its nuclear activities and address concerns over its enrichment and uranium stockpile, while Iranian officials had maintained they would not accept US demands without significant concessions on sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iran\u2019s longtime ruler Ali Khamenei was killed at his residence during the United States and Israeli strikes on February 28. Tehran retaliated by launching missiles and drones at Israel and other countries in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The US Operation Epic Fury against Iran aims to destroy the Iranian missile industry, defeat the fleet, prevent nuclear weapons development and ensure freedom for the Iranian people, according to US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
