The 1.3-percent increase reported last year fell short of the targeted 4.1-percent expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2026, the government expects the economy to grow by 2.8 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The International Monetary Fund forecast Belarus\u2019 economic growth at 1.4 percent in 2026, while the Eurasian Development Bank projected 1.8 percent economic growth.
