March 19, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusian opposition leader \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja has told Pozirk<\/em> that she has received bipartisan support in Poland following her move to Warsaw in January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was referring to backing from Civic Platform, which leads the governing coalition, as well as from the opposition Law and Justice party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cichano\u016dskaja noted that Vilnius, where she was based from 2020 to 2026, continues to play a strategically important role in the struggle for democracy in Belarus, describing her relocation to Poland as \u201ca technicality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur relations with Lithuania, both political and strategic, have not changed. We remain in contact with the foreign ministry, and our office staff maintain contacts with the parliament. Anatol Labied\u017aka, who is responsible for relations with MPs, remains in Vilnius. My relocation to another country must not affect political and diplomatic relations,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
