April 1, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ry\u017eanko\u016d has arrived in Oman with a working visit which will feature the first meeting of the Belarusian-Omani Intergovernmental Committee for Cooperation and Investment, as well as a series of bilateral talks, the ministry reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian delegation to the committee had met in late February in Minsk to present proposals to boost ties with Oman in agriculture, industry, logistics, healthcare, culture, tourism and the IT sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An agreement on mutual exemption from visas between the governments of Oman and Belarus entered into force on March 17.  The visa waiver is valid for up to 30 days per visit, provided that the total period of stay does not exceed 90 days during the calendar year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka last visited Oman between November 28 to December 6, 2025. Earlier this year, Belarus and Oman announced plans to open embassies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oman has been hit with multiple drone and missile strikes since Israel and the United States launched a military operation against Iran on February 28. Belarus\u2019 national airline Bie\u0142avija has carried out several evacuation flights from Oman, repatriating more than 300 Belarusians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
