{"id":182107,"date":"2026-04-02T20:01:22","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T17:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/182107\/"},"modified":"2026-04-02T20:01:24","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T17:01:24","slug":"latuska-meets-with-council-of-europe-officials-to-share-evidence-of-alleged-lukasenka-crimes","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/182107\/","title":{"rendered":"\u0141atu\u0161ka meets with Council of Europe officials to share evidence of alleged \u0141ukasenka crimes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>April 2, <em>Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Pavie\u0142 \u0141atu\u0161ka, Belarus\u2019 opposition politician, discussed three sets of charges to prosecute Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka in international courts during his meeting with Council of Europe officials in Strasbourg earlier this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0141atu\u0161ka seeks to hold the Belarusian ruler accountable for transfers of Ukrainian children from occupied territories to Belarus for pro-Russian indoctrination, crimes against the Belarusian people and complicity in the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, reported the United Transitional Cabinet. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He met with Gianluca Esposito, director general for human rights and the rule of law, as well as with the permanent representatives of Slovenia and Latvia, Bertha Mrak and Agnese Vilde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0141atu\u0161ka discussed arrangements for sharing evidence of the transfers of children with Esposito\u2019s office and the Council of Europe headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0141atu\u0161ka called on Slovenia and Latvia to support the International Criminal Court prosecutor\u2019s investigation into alleged crimes against humanity committed by Belarusian authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 1, \u0141atu\u0161ka shared his files with evidence with Carina \u00d6debrink, special rapporteur of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly.
