April<\/strong> 2, <\/strong>Pozirk<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/strong> Belarus\u2019 Foreign Minister Maksim Ry\u017eanko\u016d has met with senior officials in Oman to discuss a schedule of meetings of diplomats and ways to boost trade and economic ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ry\u017eanko\u016d met with Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Agriculture Minister Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed Al Habsi and Commerce Minister<\/a><\/strong> <\/strong>Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, according to the Belarusian foreign office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials discussed supplies of meat and dairy products from Belarus to Oman and sea products and fruits in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minsk sees Oman as a gateway to Gulf countries and East Africa, the ministry stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An agreement on mutual exemption from visas between the governments of Oman and Belarus entered into force on March 17. The visa waiver is valid for up to 30 days per visit, provided that the total period of stay does not exceed 90 days during the calendar year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka last visited Oman between November 28 to December 6, 2025. Earlier this year, Belarus and Oman announced plans to open embassies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oman was hit with multiple drone and missile strikes since Israel and the United States launched a military operation against Iran on February 28. Belarus\u2019 national airline Bie\u0142avija has carried out several evacuation flights from Oman, repatriating more than 300 Belarusians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
