One of the conditions is that a woman\u2019s age may not exceed 40 years. Recent amendments provide that a woman retains the right to a second free IVF attempt until she reaches the age of 49 if the first IVF attempt resulted in the birth of a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The amendments allowing a second state-funded IVF attempt are set to take effect by late June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Belarus, infertility rates among married couples reach up to 17 percent. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, approximately 10,000 children have been born in Belarus over the two decades since IVF procedures became available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>April 8, Pozirk.
