May 6, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Poland\u2019s Internal Security Agency noted vigorous activity of Russian, Belarusian and Chinese secret services in the country in its report covering 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agency is concerned about multi-aspect Chinese-Russian intelligence cooperation and China\u2019s increasing influence in Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian secret services focused on infiltrating and disintegrating Belarusian opposition communities in Poland, the report says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBelarusian intelligence, especially its military branch, works closely with its Russian counterpart. This symbiosis of the secret services of the two countries deepened after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and due to the limited opportunities for operations in Poland under classical covers. Belarusian military intelligence has been conducting intensive intelligence activity targeting facilities of the Polish Armed Forces and their allies, as well as critical infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, Belarusian secret services recruit informers in Belarus to send them to Poland. In the last two years, \u201cBelarusian officers stepped up repressive actions (blackmail and coercion) against citizens of Belarus selected for recruitment,\u201d the report says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recruitment also targets Poles visiting Belarus on a regular basis, while infiltration has affected the Polish minority in Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report also mentions Belarus\u2019 cyber group UNC1151, associated with the government, among cyber threats such as espionage, influence operations and disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May 2024, Polish law enforcement officers arrested a Pole and two Belarusians over alleged arson attacks masterminded by Russian security services. Another Belarusian man was arrested in November that year in Gdansk in connection with an arson attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
