May 26, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Belarusian defense ministry has launched a three-day command staff exercise involving officers, military units and the army’s logistical support forces, its press office reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrej Burdyka, deputy defense minister and chief of logistics, is in charge of the exercise focusing on \u201cmanaging the logistical support of troops in Armed Forces crisis response operations,\u201d it noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stated objective of the drill is to ensure and sustain the required level of proficiency among officials at all levels, enabling them to promptly carry out logistical support tasks for the Armed Forces during crisis response operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All practical exercises will be conducted and rehearsed at logistical support facilities for the first time, the ministry stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, officials also launched a five-day training exercise for Armed Forces operations officers, focusing on engineering support for units, logistics for separate detachments and tactical medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian army is frequently conducting drills amid tensions with the West and Russia\u2019s full-scale war against Ukraine, in which Minsk supports Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
