Five companies\u2019 representatives from the Homiel region were involved in a \u201csystemic business corruption\u201d scheme, taking bribes from a private entrepreneur, the interior ministry reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The suspects, aged between 28 and 59, allegedly received illegal payments while holding positions related to procurement in the housing, utilities and agricultural sectors, it noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are accused of accepting bribes in exchange for favorable decisions on matters within their jurisdiction from January 2023 to February 2026.
