Twenty-seven of them were hospitalized, with doctors suspecting acute gastroenteritis and describing their symptoms as \u201cmoderately severe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight children had been discharged from hospital as of 6 p.m. on June 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Health authorities launched an inquiry to establish the cause of the outbreak. The Investigative Committee is probing the incident by order of the Prosecutor General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On June 3, state media reported that 27 preschool-age children were brought to the Barysa\u016d Central District Hospital on Tuesday after they developed nausea and vomiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minsk region\u2019s chief sanitary doctor, Alaksandr Tarasienka, said that the situation is \u201cstable\u201d and the children\u2019s condition is \u201csatisfactory.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 4, Pozirk.
