June 17, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>A European External Action Service official responsible for relations with Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) visited Minsk last week, opposition politician Pavie\u0142 \u0141atu\u0161ka told the Obychnoye Utro<\/em> YouTube show on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn recent months, delegations of the foreign ministries of Italy, Germany and France as well as the head of French intelligence have visited Minsk,\u201d \u0141atu\u0161ka said. \u201cAn official from the European External Action Service, the director responsible for Russia and the CIS, has also been there. Talks took place last week.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of those visitors say that they come to Belarus to check on their missions and embassies, but they also use their visits to get a better grasp of Minsk\u2019s stance, \u0141atu\u0161ka said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with Al Arabiya<\/em> English broadcast by Belarusian state television networks on June 15, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka said that Minsk had been in close contact, behind the scenes, with officials in large European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
