June 18, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>One child wounded in yesterday\u2019s drone attack in Russia, underwent surgery at night and is being transported on life support to Minsk, according to the Belarusian health ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One woman was killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all, five Belarusian children and one adult injured in a drone attack on a Belarusian bus in Russia\u2019s Bryansk province will be taken to healthcare institutions in Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wounded children will receive treatment at the National Child Surgery Center, and the injured adult in the Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the Armed Forces, the ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All, except one, are conscious, talking and feeling better, and the outlook for their recovery is positive despite their shrapnel wounds, the press office added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian Health Minister Alaksandar Chad\u017eaje\u016d said that the \u201cevacuation\u201d effort began early on Thursday, as soon as circumstances and the health condition of the patients permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viktoryja Haro\u0161ka, the wife of a coach from the Re\u010dyca sports school for children, was confirmed dead. Originally from Ukraine, the woman resided in Belarus for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two passenger buses departed from Re\u010dyca for Russia\u2019s Gelendzhik early on Wednesday morning, carrying a total of about 90 people, including 41 children. Around 11:00 a.m., a passenger informed the city authorities about a drone attack in the Bryansk province. The bus that was hit reportedly carried 43 passengers, of whom 28 were children enrolled in soccer programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trip to Russia was organized as an annual summer retreat funded by their parents. Usually, a different route was used, the Homiel Regional Soccer Federation told Onliner<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied Ukrainian forces\u2019 involvement, saying the army did not employ unmanned aerial vehicles against targets in Russia\u2019s Bryansk province when the bus was hit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ukrainian parliament\u2019s Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets wrote on Telegram on Wednesday evening that he \u201curgently contacted\u201d Belarusian authorities and received a \u201cpreliminary information\u201d about the incident. Lubinets \u201cstrongly emphasized\u201d that Ukraine \u201chas absolutely nothing to do with it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
