June 20,\u00a0Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0Kyiv has identified\u00a0four\u00a0relay systems in Belarus that facilitate Russia\u2019s drone attacks on Ukraine,\u00a0Volodymyr Zelensky\u00a0said on his Telegram channel on Saturday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine has repeatedly signaled that Russia\u2019s efforts to draw Belarus into its war could have extremely dangerous consequences, Zelensky said. \u201cIn particular, we have detected that special equipment has been installed for Russia along our border in the Belarusian territory that helps Russians strike us, our territory with drones. Ukraine is aware of four such relay systems in Belarus \u2013 in the Homiel and the Brest regions.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Zelensky, the network enabled strikes on energy and railroad infrastructure as well as “ordinary cities and villages” in the Zhytomyr, Rivne and Volyn\u00a0provinces.\u00a0“Belarus has time to dismantle this equipment,\u201d\u00a0he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zelensky stressed that Ukraine knows of \u201cevery plant in Belarus that works for Russia\u201d and its war machine. He warned that Belarus\u2019 involvement in the war increases with every company that supplies Russia with weapon components and fuel for the battlefield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zelensky noted that Belarus had increased its gasoline and diesel fuel exports to Russia 13 and three times, respectively, in the first five months of 2026 compared with the same period of the previous year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of this helps Russia \u201cadapt to pressure and does not bring peace closer,\u201d Zelensky said. He called on Belarus\u2019 \u201cde facto leadership\u201d to follow up on its \u201cunofficial\u201d messages to Kyiv to prove that Minsk opposes the war.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At\u00a0Friday\u2019s joint news conference with Nasry Asfura, president of Honduras,\u00a0Zelensky\u00a0gave \u0141uka\u0161enka\u00a0one week to disable relay equipment for Russian drone attacks on Ukraine.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zelensky warned that if \u0141uka\u0161enka fails to take action to \u201cremove or disable\u201d the equipment within one week, \u201cwe will do it ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drone control relay systems are elevated signal boosters, mounted on towers, buildings, or larger “mother-drones,” that extend the operational range and video stability of unmanned aircraft. By bypassing geographic obstacles and the Earth\u2019s curvature, they maintain a clear line of sight between a distant pilot and a low-flying drone. However, because these systems continuously broadcast high-power radio signals, their fixed or airborne locations are highly vulnerable to enemy detection and precision strikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
