June 24, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>No Russian attack drones have not been detected along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border over the last three days, the Belarusian media outlet Flagshtok<\/em> reported on June 24 with reference to its sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ukrainian Armed Forces spotted the most recent flight in northwestern part of the Chirnihiv region on June 21, with the drone flying toward the city of Slavutych, Flagshtok<\/em> said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In late spring and early summer, large numbers of Russian attack drones were flying along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border every day, some entered Belarus and were frequently spotted by local residents. Some drones went down in Belarus, the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russian drones continued to attack the Chernihiv region on a daily basis in recent days, but they followed other routes, which did pass through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border areas, Flagstok<\/em> said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stressing that there have been no large-scale air strikes at Ukraine this week and \u201cit is too early to make conclusions,\u201d Flagstok<\/em> suggested that no drones along the shared border with Ukraine might mean that relay systems that facilitated Russian drone attacks are no longer being used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said later on Wednesday that the relay systems have suspended operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhether they dismounted them or not, I, frankly speaking, don\u2019t know yet. But we are working on it and I am closely following it and receive daily reports. The fact is that the relay systems are not operational now,\u201d Suspilne quoted him as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that Commander in Chief Oleksander Syrskyi and intelligence reported that the relay systems had not been operating since June 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 19, Zelensky gave Belarusian authorities one week to dismantle four drone control relay systems allegedly used to facilitate Russian attacks on Ukraine. \u201cIf he does not shut them down, we will shut down everything within a week. Either they will do it, or we will,\u201d the Ukrainian leader noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 23, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka asked residents of the Homiel region, bordering Ukraine, not to be anxious following Zelensky\u2019s ultimatum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus \u201chas everything necessary to protect its population from any aggressor,\u201d Pul Pervogo<\/em>, a Telegram channel linked to the Belarusian ruler\u2019s press office, quoted him as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
