June 26, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Opposition politician Pavie\u0142 \u0141atu\u0161ka has noted a lack of coordination between the Belarusian diplomats and Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s administration on Ukraine, speaking on the Obychnoye Utro<\/em> YouTube show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrej Dapkiunas, Belarus\u2019 permanent representative to the OSCE, made offensive remarks directed at Kyiv yesterday, but Belarus\u2019 state-run media removed reports of his speech the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0141atu\u0161ka suggested that the foreign ministry\u2019s stance contrasts with that of \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s administration, adding that the Belarusian ruler\u2019s approach to the war in Ukraine consists of \u201cpersuading Russians to stop the war.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 2022, Russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine in which the Belarusian authorities supported the Kremlin, allowing Russian troops to attack Ukraine from Belarus on multiple occasions and supplying arms to Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 19, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave the Belarusian authorities one week to dismantle four drone-control relay systems allegedly used to facilitate Russian attacks on Ukraine. Earlier this week, he said that the relay systems had suspended operations, while \u0141uka\u0161enka urged Kyiv to \u201cnegotiate substantively, without raising dust and shouting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
