June 26, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Belarusian Defense Minister Viktar Chrenin has accused Europeans of having a \u201cNazi mentality\u201d in an address at an anti-fascist event in Minsk today, the defense ministry\u2019s press office reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gathering attracted more than 600 participants from 40 countries, including Austria, France, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States, the ministry said, without specifying their roles or positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, Chrenin accused Brussels of pursuing policies of \u201cracial superiority,\u201d claiming that Western countries rely on \u201ca wide array of illegitimate tools, from political and economic pressure to the fomenting of interethnic conflicts and military interventions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that, by \u201cintimidating the population with an imaginary threat from the East,\u201d the European Union is \u201clike the Third Reich before it,\u201d militarizing, expanding its military-industrial complex, and preparing for war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By declaring Russia and Belarus a security threat, Europe is effectively \u201cciting 2030 as the start of a war\u201d in its strategic planning documents, he claimed. He also said that continued supplies of weapons and financial support to Kyiv contribute to an escalation along the \u201cRussia\u2013NATO axis,\u201d risking a global armed conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
