July 10,\u00a0Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>Belarus saw a 0.3-percent rise in consumer prices in June, with a 2.9-percent increase since January and a 4.3-percent rise year on year, the National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat) reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, food prices climbed by 0.3 percent, while non-food prices and services grew by 0.1 and 0.8 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumer prices\u2019 growth this year was driven mainly by a 6.7-percent rise in services prices. Food prices climbed by 1.8 percent, while non-food prices rose by 1.5 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, the government was expecting inflation to slow down to 5 percent, yet it stood at 6.8 percent following 5.2 percent reported in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, inflation is not expected to exceed 7 percent, according to the key economic targets for 2026 that Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka approved last November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
