August 5, <\/strong>Pozirk<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong>.<\/strong> The export of gasoline and diesel from Belarus to Russia hit a new monthly record in July amid fuel shortages following months of relentless Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries, Reuters<\/u><\/a> reported on Wednesday, citing industry sources and its own calculations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus\u2019 gasoline exports to Russia by rail rose by 13 percent last month \u200cfrom June to 212,000 tons, while diesel deliveries doubled to 162,000 tons, Reuters said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus reportedly exported about 13,100 tons of jet fuel to Russia in July, down from 16,000 tons in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, gasoline shipments by rail from Belarus to Russia in the first seven months of the year surged 25-fold from the same period of 2025 to nearly 665,000 tons, while diesel deliveries increased almost sevenfold to 418,000 tons, the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Reuters, Russian gasoline output fell early in July to a level equivalent to only around 65 percent of the seasonal average consumption, while diesel production dropped to roughly the level of domestic demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reuters reported on July 9 that Belarus exported 453,000 tons of gasoline and 256,000 tons of diesel fuel to Russia in the first six months of 2026, increasing the gasoline exports 20 times and the diesel export five times on the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June, Belarusian oil refineries supplied over 181,000 tons of gasoline to Russia by rail, which was more than a threefold increase, the agency said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Belarus against supplying fuel to Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
