August 10, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Belarus\u2019 consumer price growth accelerated from 4.3 percent year-on-year in June 2026 to 4.4 percent in July, according to the National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prices increased by 0.3 percent compared with June and by 3.2 percent\u00a0compared with January,\u00a0Bie\u0142stat reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July, food prices\u00a0reportedly decreased\u00a0by 0.3 percent against June, while\u00a0the prices of\u00a0non-food\u00a0products\u00a0and services\u00a0rose\u00a0by 0.8\u00a0and 0.6\u00a0percent, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food prices increased by 3.1 percent against July 2025, and the prices of non-food products and services rose by 2.9 and 8.7 percent, respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus\u2019 consumer prices reportedly rose by 6.8 percent in 2025, whereas the government had projected an inflation rate of no more than five percent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
