As a result, the authorities stripped him of his awards and removed him from the national team. Sports Minister Siarhiej Kaval\u010duk, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s former body guard, claimed that Kazieka had lost his job because of \u201calcoholism.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Athletes trained by Kazieka have won eight medals at the Winter Olympics, including four golds. Belarusian freestylers failed to earn a single medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, breaking a 28-year string of podium finishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kazieka held numerous state awards, including the title of best coach of Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On August 11, Belarusian opposition politician Alaksandar Milinkievi\u010d, who ran against Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka in the 2006 presidential election, died in Poland at the age of 79.
