{"id":199746,"date":"2026-08-12T16:44:02","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T13:44:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/199746\/"},"modified":"2026-08-12T16:44:04","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T13:44:04","slug":"belarus-ranked-second-lowest-in-eaeu-for-motor-fuel-prices-in-june","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/199746\/","title":{"rendered":"Belarus ranked second-lowest in EAEU for motor fuel prices in June"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>August 12, <em>Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Belarus posted the second-lowest motor fuel prices in the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in June, according to <em>Pozirk\u2019s<\/em> analysis of the Eurasian Economic Commission\u2019s data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia led the gasoline prices at $1.32 per liter, followed by Russia with $0.98, Kyrgyzstan with $0.96, Belarus with $0.94 and Kazakhstan with $0.49.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diesel fuel was also most expensive in Armenia at $1.27 per liter. Russia and Kyrgyzstan were in the top three with $1.15 and $1.07, respectively. Belarus posted diesel prices at $0.96 and Kazakhstan, at $0.69.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this month, Belarus\u2019 state petrochemical giant Bie\u0142naftachim announced another slight increase in motor fuel prices following an earlier increase on July 8. The prices were set at 2.60 rubels ($0.89) for one liter of AI-92; 2.70 rubels for a liter of AI-95; 2.92 rubels for AI-98; and 2.70 rubels for a liter of diesel fuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuel prices have risen five times this year after an almost 11-month period of stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bie\u0142naftachim has avoided steep increases in the prices of motor fuels since the 2010s after Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka accused it of triggering public unrest with a sharp rise. Instead, it raises fuel prices in smaller increments but more frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuel prices in Belarus have not been affected by Ukrainian aerial attacks on Russia\u2019s energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 12, Pozirk.
