August 19, Pozirk.<\/strong> Belarusian authorities have lifted restrictions on access to forests in all but four of the country\u2019s 118 districts, according to Pozirk\u2019s analysis of the data on the forestry ministry\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judging by the ministry\u2019s interactive map, forest visits are banned in the Brahin, Chojniki and \u017dytkavi\u010dy districts in the Homiel region. Restrictions are in place in the Salihorsk district, Minsk region, with people banned from driving and burning fires in forests but free to walk and gather berries and mushrooms there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 17, all of Belarus\u2019 districts had full or partial bans in place on forest visits amid a prolonged dry spell. Rainy weather set in across the country on Tuesday and is expected to persist in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
