{"id":201254,"date":"2026-08-25T17:49:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-25T14:49:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/201254\/"},"modified":"2026-08-25T17:49:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-25T14:49:09","slug":"labor-productivity-rises-1-1-percent-real-pay-7-5-percent-in-h1","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/201254\/","title":{"rendered":"Labor productivity rises 1.1 percent, real pay 7.5 percent in H1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>August 25,\u00a0<em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0Labor productivity increased by 1.1 percent in Belarus in the first half of 2026 compared with the same period last year, while real (inflation-adjusted) monthly pay rose by 7.5 percent, according to the National Statistics Committee\u2019s (Bie\u0142stat) data.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Labor productivity reportedly increased by 2.7 percent in the Brest region, 1.7 percent in the Homiel and Minsk region, 0.8 percent in the Mahilo\u016d region and 0.1 percent in the Hrodna region, declining by 0.3 percent and 0.1 percent in the city of Minsk and the Viciebsk region, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Real pay reportedly grew by 9.7 percent in the Viciebsk region, 8.5 percent in the Brest region, 8.9 percent in the Hrodna region, 7.9 percent in the Minsk region, 7.6 percent in the Mahilo\u016d region, 6.5 percent in the Homiel region and 5.5 percent in Minsk.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year,&nbsp;Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka&nbsp;slammed the government over Belarus\u2019 poor economic performance, stressing that the pace of labor productivity growth was two or three times slower than in developed countries.
