August 26, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Belarusian companies invested $3.6 billion abroad in the first half of 2026, with Russia accounting for 90.3 percent of all investments, according to the National Statistical Committee’s (Bielstat) data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus\u2019 real economy attracted $5 billion in foreign investment in this period. Russia accounted for 66.2 percent of the total, followed by the United Arab Emirates at 11 percent and Cyprus at nearly 6 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, foreign companies invested $7.6 billion in Belarus\u2019 economy, 10.1 percent more than in 2024, according to official data. For the second consecutive year, Bie\u0142stat did not disclose the countries of origin or destination of the investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia consolidated its status as Belarus\u2019 key partner in 2025, Belarusian Prime Minister Alaksandar Tur\u010dyn said earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
