Since August 18, officials have arrested 19 suspects with alleged links to scammers, seizing at least 45,000 rubels ($14,800) from them. Authorities also blocked payments to 13 foreign accounts used by criminals and suspended outgoing transactions from 51 accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cybercrimes accounted for more than one-third of all crimes recorded in Belarus from January through May 2026, reaching 33.4 percent, the interior ministry said earlier. The share has been rising steadily in recent years, from 21.5 percent in 2023 to 27.5 percent in 2024 and 29.7 percent in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2026, Belarus recorded an average of 359 cybercrimes a week, or more than 50 a day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 31, Pozirk.
