September 7, Pozirk. <\/strong>Average monthly wages rose year on year in four of five Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states in January\u2013June 2026, with Belarus ranking second with 13.2 percent nominal pay growth, according to Pozirk\u2019s analysis the Eurasian Economic Commission\u2019s data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kyrgyzstan led growth with 27.5 percent, while Russia ranked behind Belarus at 12.7 percent. Kazakhstan and Armenia posted the growth of 10.3 percent and 5.5 percent, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus\u2019 real wages climbed by 7.5 percent in this period. It lagged behind Kyrgyzstan with 15.3 percent yet was ahead of Russia that posted a 6.5-percent growth and Armenia with 0.9 percent. Kazakhstan reported a 0.6 percent decrease in real wages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EAEU is an international organization for regional economic integration. Its member states include Belarus and Russia, which are under international sanctions for the assault on Ukraine, as well as Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 185.5 million people, or 2.2 percent of the world\u2019s population, live in these countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EAEU also has free trade agreements with Cuba, Iran, Serbia, Singapore and Vietnam, while Egypt, India, Indonesia, Israel, Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates are negotiating free trade deals. The bloc also has a separate cooperation agreement with China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
