The story opens at Minsk\u2019s notorious Akre\u015bcina detention center, where journalist Darja seeks information about political prisoner Mika\u0142aj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another storyline follows opposition activists whose plane is forced to land in Minsk after departing from Athens. The plot echoes the 2021 forced landing of a Ryanair flight in Minsk, which led to the arrests of journalist Raman Pratasievi\u010d and Russian national Sofiya Sapega. Both were convicted in Belarus, but pardoned and released later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An international group of hackers and activists opposed to the Belarusian authorities becomes central to the story.
