September 28, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Belarusian economy employed 4,191,400 people in August, or 8,900 more than in July, according to Pozirk\u2019s<\/em> analysis of the National Statistics Committee (Bie\u0142stat) data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of people employed in the Belarusian economy reportedly increased from 4,162,800 in January to 4,180,900 in March, dropped to 4,160,500 in May and rose to 4,182,900 in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the State Employment Service, 130,141 vacancies were available to job seekers on August 28, up from 129,343 on July 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus\u2019 unemployment rate reportedly stood at 2.1 percent in the second quarter of 2026, down from 2.4 percent in the first quarter, according to Bie\u0142stat\u2019s data. The proportion of the employed working-age individuals rose from 84.4 percent in Q1 to 85.3 percent in Q2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
