{"id":208904,"date":"2026-10-25T17:20:57","date_gmt":"2026-10-25T14:20:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/208904\/"},"modified":"2026-10-25T17:20:58","modified_gmt":"2026-10-25T14:20:58","slug":"foreign-ministry-advises-against-travel-to-six-european-countries-amid-protests","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/208904\/","title":{"rendered":"Foreign ministry advises against travel to six European countries amid protests"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>October 25, <em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Belarusian foreign ministry recommended that Belarusians refrain from \u201cnon-essential travel\u201d to Albania, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal amid ongoing protests fuelled by rising costs of living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry\u2019s statement noted that these countries are experiencing \u201ca sharp deterioration in the domestic political situation, accompanied by mass demonstrations, including those involving radical elements, as well as reports of disproportionate use of force by law enforcement agencies and arbitrary detentions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian diplomats warned that curfews in parts of France could be extended nationwide, with a state of emergency and restrictions on public transport, internet access and communications also possible in other countries affected by the unrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian nationals could face limited access to consular and legal assistance due to understaffing at Belarusian diplomatic missions in the six countries, the ministry added. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 25, Pozirk.
