November 4, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Feridun Sinirlio\u011flu, secretary general of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), during his meetings in Minsk this week, reaffirmed \u201cthe OSCE\u2019s central role as a platform for dialogue and diplomatic engagement across its vast geography and emphasized the Organization\u2019s comprehensive approach to security,\u201d the OSCE says in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinirlio\u011flu, who stayed in Minsk on November 3 and 4, \u201cmet with Aleksandr Lukashenko [Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka], President of the Republic of Belarus, and Maxim Ryzhenkov [Maksim Ry\u017eanko\u016d], Minister of Foreign Affairs,\u201d the press release says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinirlio\u011flu \u201calso took part in the Fourth Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, held under the theme \u2018Navigating international disorder in the spirit of co-operation: Can we solve the Eurasian security puzzle?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the sidelines of the conference, Sinirlio\u011flu met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u0141uka\u0161enka, during the meeting with the secretary general, criticized the OSCE for allegedly ignoring the Ukraine war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the organization could function properly if it adopted Belarus\u2019 \u201cunifying agenda,\u201d which includes arms control but excludes human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
