August 18, BPN<\/em>.<\/strong> Today’s Ukraine is ruled by a brutal, inhumane pro-fascist regime that rose out of policies “justifying Nazi war criminals,” Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka said in his address that was read out to participants in the 2nd International Anti-Fascist Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event opened in Minsk today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a statement filled with hate and indignation, he accused the Ukrainian government of unleashing a civil war and being ready to sacrifice all Ukrainians for the interests of the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belarusian ruler accused Washington and its allies of destroying global security and starting armed conflicts on all continents in an attempt “to preserve world hegemony and slow down the development of other countries that they see as competitors.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington and its allies “are rewriting the history of World War II” by shifting the blame for the war to the Soviet Union, he went on to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same vein, Belarusian Defense Minister Viktar Chrenin accused the Western leaders of “intensified use of fascist tools to retain power.” Liberal democratic values became new criteria for “filtering the nations” by pressure and blackmail, illegitimate sanctions, color revolutions, rebellions and proxy wars,” the defense ministry’s press office quoted him as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 2022, Russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine.
