{"id":2516,"date":"2023-08-21T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-21T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/?post_type=articles&#038;p=2516"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"belarus-planning-to-build-12-seat-aircraft-together-with-russia-official","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/2516\/","title":{"rendered":"Belarus planning to build 12-seat aircraft together with Russia \u2013 official"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>August 21,<em>&nbsp;BPN<\/em>.<\/strong>&nbsp;Belarus and Russia plan to manufacture the LMS-401 light aircraft, Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parchom\u010dyk told the&nbsp;<em>ONT<\/em>&nbsp;TV channel in an interview broadcast on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prime Minister Raman Ha\u0142o\u016d\u010danka signed an agreement to that effect during his July visit to Russia&#8217;s Ekaterinburg, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is at the stage of &#8220;experimental and design work,&#8221; the official said, noting that Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No 407 and Aircraft Repair Plant No 558 in Baranavi\u010dy, Brest region, will be involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional assembly facilities may be constructed, Parchom\u010dyk added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We have absolutely no time and it has to be done promptly,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Our industrial facilities are already closely cooperating with companies in Russia that produce other aircraft. . . Enough of repairing things, it&#8217;s time to fly our own aircraft.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarus will also supply certain parts to the Russian assembly lines, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No technical specifications are available online for the LMS-401.
