The diplomats&nbsp;also discussed working visits, cooperation in agriculture and supplies of Belarusian equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alejnik and his Nicaraguan counterpart Denis Moncada agreed to hold a meeting of the joint commission for trade and economic cooperation in Minsk on October 3 and 4. They also discussed IT and supplies of Belarusian equipment, food&nbsp;and pharmaceutical products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With China&#8217;s Ma Zhaoxu, the Belarusian foreign minister&nbsp;discussed&nbsp;bilateral cooperation mechanisms, a&nbsp;schedule of upcoming events and cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At yesterday&#8217;s meeting on China&#8217;s Global Development Initiative on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Alejnik said that China demonstrates &#8220;exemplary global leadership&#8221; amid &#8220;global turbulence&#8221; by helping countries in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the foreign ministry&#8217;s press office, Belarus plans to promote a &#8220;consolidating and creative agenda&#8221; emphasizing the &#8220;peaceful nature&#8221; of its priorities at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly. The minister is scheduled to meet with European, Asian, African and Latin American diplomats, as well as UN leaders.
