{"id":2922,"date":"2023-09-25T23:52:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-25T20:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/?post_type=articles&#038;p=2922"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"lukasenka-bans-drones-for-ordinary-citizens-after-attack-on-russian-plane","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/2922\/","title":{"rendered":"\u0141uka\u0161enka bans drones for ordinary citizens after attack on Russian plane"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>September 25,\u00a0<em>Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has signed Edict No 297 prohibiting ordinary citizens from importing, storing, selling, operating or producing civilian drones, his press office reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has allowed only organizations and sole proprietors to do so for their business or professional services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move is reportedly aimed at ensuring public safety and regulating the state registration of civilian drones and model aircraft, as well as their use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizations and sole proprietors are required to obtain&nbsp;permits from the transport ministry&#8217;s aviation department to import UAVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The Edict shall be effective as of the date of its publication with respect to the importation, operation and production of UAVs by natural persons, and with respect to the storage and circulation thereof, six months after the date of its publication,&#8221; the document reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Citizens have half a year to sell their drones to organizations or sole proprietors or hand them over for storage to an &#8220;authorized organization.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ban comes after a drone attack on February 26 damaged a Russian early warning and control aircraft at a military airfield in Ma\u010duli\u0161\u010dy, Minsk district.
