Those who were smarter went to Africa to make money, and those who were not destined to do so and could not get away from their crimes were being pressured to go to Ukraine, the senior officer said. He added that no more than several hundred Wagner fighters stayed in Belarus, noting that they were not a unified or organized force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ten days earlier, the National Resistance Center reported that less than 1,000 Wagner mercenaries remained in Belarus. It&nbsp;said about 200 of them were training Belarusian police and soldiers, and the rest had been struggling to find jobs at&nbsp;other military companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four days later, the Ukrainian military-linked center&nbsp;said Belarus was luring Wagner Group mercenaries to join its Guard Service security company by offering them
