Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan follow with 7.45 and three percent, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine managed to maintain the US dollar exchange rates at the same level, while Armenia, Georgia, Baltics, Kazakhstan and Moldova had their currencies strengthen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August, the Belarusian rubel lost 6.2 percent of its value against the US dollar, more than any other currency in the post-Soviet region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>September 1,\u00a0Pozirk.\u00a0Belarus ranked second in the former Soviet Union in terms of its currency weakening against the US dollar from January to August, according to an analysis of central bank quotes by\u00a0BPN.
